Mundane arms, armor, and provisions are free, and characters have 3,000 gold pieces as starting gold. Characters start at level 8 and use an array of 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8 for ability scores, and never roll for health. Backgrounds and feats are allowed. Fire cannot be used in the Green including spells and such but there is no aspect of life diminished by it. Outside the Green fire is fine. Expect death. If a character worships a god the player must make a new one because the lore of other gods conflicts with the homebrew. The Krynn race is restricted because it is a monster that is too powerful to function as a playable race. Page 282 of the DMG has some monstrous races available for play if you can prove that they can work in-game and that they would have reason to be with the current party.
Only published wizards material is usable, i.e. not unearthed arcana.
